#perl pattern matching example, multiply match

#$_ is the default variable

$_ = ‘Time, tow times, and half a tiME ‘;

#flag g is global modifier, means match multiply times

#flag i is ignore case modifier

@matches = m/time/gi;

foreach (@matches)

{

print “$_\n”;

}

Output:

1
2
3
Time
time
tiME
